We are home from a wonderful fun filled trip to the beach! The kids and I were invited to go camping with my Mom over the past 4 days:
Day One - Sunday
Upon arriving to Wright's Beach the weather welcomed us with a fresh shower. My Mom and I quickly set up the tent but did not quite complete the task quick enough. After we had the tent up and the tarp attached we then dried out the puddles that had formed in a matter of minutes. We thankfully both were laughing the entire time! God's timing is amazing, we finished with the tents and the downpour of rain turned to a light mist.
Day Two - Monday
While watching the kids laugh and play on the beach a MEAN bee found Ryan. He was not happy at all while the bee gave him not one present but three stings in his little hand. We now know that Ryan is allergic and thankfully I had the right medicince for him. Grandma saved the day when she took him into the store to get some "bub" also know as bubblegum and lifesavers.
For lunch we went into town and had some delicious fish varieties. Love, love, love fresh fish and claim chowder in a bread bowl.
Day Three - Tuesday
We were awoken today by a friendly family of racoons along with some animal still not quite sure of that sounds like a pig. Around 1:30am the little rascals found the salt water taffy that had accidentally been left of the table. Let me tell you they enjoyed every piece (except for 2 of the flavors they kindly left spewed on the bench) for a good hour. They were just chewing a chatting away for a very long time!
When we did really wake up for the day the kids and I as well as Aunt Leslie & Uncle Bob went for a stroll down the beach. We ended up at a really neat cave and right next to some fun climbing rocks. We sat and enjoyed watching the waves crash upon the other rocks while snacking on some viddles.
Overall we had a wonderful time! The kids and I came home with a good 5pounds of sand in our tent and clothing. Can't wait to do it again!!
